Literature Text

He's wearing thin now,
thirsty for her daylight
to his tired eyes

He sat there,
heavy hearted and afraid
of the truth in her voice,

Replacing yesterday with
photographs and letters,
little by little.

Behind his eyelids, there are
fire works, embraces &
captured champagne kisses
-he's sure the bubbles still linger
In her hair.

Her smile is beautifully
Tragic
Her eyes are perfectly
Dark.

Slow motion memories.
It's painful to remember;
It makes him sick.

Sweet warm from Monday night,
still on his skin, left from her
promising caresses. He sits there,
waiting for days to fade, to wear away.
He can't forget her.

He wont.
I might fix this..but for now this is one of the four love poems I will be writing : ) [link]
